Smoking (what I really think)
I think it’s socially and economically irresponsible. When I see someone smoking, particularly a teenager, I will be dissapointed. It’s not like I hate smoking for no reason, or even vain social/political reasons. I hate it because it’s illogical and people become willfully enslaved to it. It reeks of capitalism and greed. I would just hate being a greedy corporation’s pawn, a cog it some stupid wheel. When I see a smoker, I don’t see a free thinker, or a caring person. I see a hypocrite, or a person with no clarity of thought. And no, I don’t see that as passing judgements because you don’t need to assume those things. The evidence is there in the act.
I hate it because it shows a blatant disregard for human life, animal life and the environment. I don’t feel as disgusted by older smokers because I understand addiction and I know back in their day the campaigning wasn’t as strong and all the dangers weren’t as well known. But for people my age, it’s just ignorant.
I roll my eyes at anyone who smokes and the proceeds to say they love anyone, or anything besides themselves. Even though people will deny it, you know they smoke to begin with because they look cool.
You don’t start smoking because you think it’s a great investment. It’s expensive, makes you ugly, makes you smell bad, and makes a whiny dependent titty baby. You smoke because you want to look chill, and nonchalant. Some people say they smoke because THEY DON’T CARE! They actually begin because they care too much, but about what people think and not the health of others.
Smoking is lame and disrespectful. It’s a form of speciesism. Idc if you unfollow me because it’s true. Sorry if you’re offended, it’s just how I see it.
